Sometimes God's victory doesn't look victorious in the moment. Just as Jesus appeared defeated on the cross before His resurrection, we often face seasons where God's promises seem distant and His plans unclear. The Hebrew children trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh's army didn't look victorious until God parted the waters. Isaiah 43:1-4 promises that when we walk through deep waters, God will be with us and we will not be overwhelmed. Our current struggles are preparing us for breakthrough, and we must keep our eyes on God's character rather than our difficulties. Victory is coming, even when we can't see it yet.
